How do I empty out the copylayout section? Over the years, Ive accumulated a zillion different alts, each that seems to have 10 entries. Unfortunately, my main has a name late in the alphabet and its no small chore to find the 1 layout I use predominantly. I would really like to prune this list down, so how do I do it? Thanks
Inside of your EverQuest directory you should have some files that look kind of like this: <CharacterName>_<ServerName>.ini (example jack_bristlebane.ini) UI_<CharacterName>_<ServerName>.ini (example ui_jack_bristlebane.ini) By deleting these files for the characters which you no longer use it should clear their information from the copy layout section. If the problem persists you may also want to try deleting the following files as well and try again (**Please be sure to back up these files just in case!**): defaults.ini eqclient.ini eqlsClient.ini eqmain.dll Once this has been done please try using the feature once again.
