Combo Clash fixed?

So the berzerker was winning 55 to 45......and the beastlord won?

Every single day I voted, the berzerker had this lead. Some how it lost? I smell a rat.

If people would stop exploiting to vote, or SOE would only allow voting in game or when logged in, it would be easier.

from the official thread it would seem that someone had been stuffing the votes for the Iksar Berserker all the time and when Sony did their audit they caught it and corrected it

Alright, come on, this is shady. The Iksar Berserker was stomping the Wood Elf Beastlord, now suddenly the horrible Wood Elf Beastlord is winning over the Dark Elf Ranger.

This voting system is BROKEN and at this point it would be better for them to add like the top 3 new Race/Class combos to the game on March 16.

I was actually looking forward to playing EverQuest again as either an Iksar Berserker or Dark Elf Ranger... But it's looking like the freaking Wood Elf Beastlord is going to win now and I definitely won't be coming back for that.

I just think after all the "fixes" this voting system shouldn't be exploitable anymore and SOE is clearly weighing this poll the direction they want it to go.

Come on Sony... Please just give us Dark Elf Ranger, Iksar Berserker, and Wood Elf Beastlord (if you really must) on March 16.

How the hell could anyone not think Iksar Berserker is the most appropriate race/class combo out of all those selections baffles me. I don't know if I even care enough to vote against dark elf ranger anymore, its going to win anyway.

If there were any classes to entertain an exploit, it would be the dramatic Wood Elf Beastlord and Dark Elf Ranger. They do not exactly mention their methodology for discounting corrupt votes (IP address?). This whole event is probably more for a way to lend customer-base legitimacy to their marketing forecast for an abrupt demand in race/name-change potions.

I foresee the beastlord winning until the end and them naming the DE ranger the winner due to vote stuffing....again

I'm a bit harsher on my outlook. I've already pretty much decided, should they win, that anytime I run across a dark elf ranger I'm do /who all name, since /who all bypasses illusions. If they're anon or it shows up as dark elf they're going on ignore no questions asked. Haven't decided what I'm going to do if the name is a variation of Drizzt on top of it all yet.

Wow. That is all I can say after reading the plans people have. It's like I suddenly wandered into the World of Warcraft boards.

Dark elf ranger is exactly the combination I wanted to win least.

If you go by what happened in both the first and second round. The one who actually had the least amount of votes won. This means Dark Elf Ranger will win this all.

Did anyone think Dark Elf Ranger wasn't going to win it all?

I'm actually voting for the one I DON'T want to win. I just wish we were told that this is how the vote would work in round 1.

What I don't understand is why we are getting Frog Monks. There was no vote for that. And I don't know a single person who thinks Frog Monk is a good combo.

Frog monks have been requested since they introduced frogs. Same with Vah Shir.
