This bag is sold by Tanin Gleamstone in Western Wastes. The internal data might be wrong since EQ websites like Lucy, Zam, EQResource or Magelo all show stats for this bag, while the ingame descriptions shows none (obviously). Stats displayed in game : Stats displayed on Magelo :
So will that also make the other container sold by the raid merchant bugged and lacking stats? Scale-plated Crate?
It looks more like when wolves = birds from ToV, they reused a DB entry that was set up as an aug, so it works in game as a bag, but there are extra bits that the item parsers don't know any better and are picking up on. It's not supposed to be a stat bag, its a bag that the previous item stats (that shouldn't be there) were not purged from.
It's yet another copy/paste error by the devs. There's an ocean of them, literally filling up Cobalt Scar where the sharks should be.
It may not be copy/paste, it could be a recent data reduction initiative where old unused database entries are reused for new data, but because the way the data is structured its time consuming or troublesome to reinitialize or determine all the attached data to the entry.
