- Added a chance for Lord Bergurgle's Crown to drop from other aqua goblins in Lake Rathe.

I really like these types of changes. TLPs are just too crowded these days for old bottlenecks like this. They fixed one with a goblin dude awhile back that was great too. There are still a few left so I hope they continue with this line of improvement on the game. It makes a big difference.

Good change. Probably a few other bottlenecks that could be alleviated to great effect.

Would be nice if they also expanded the Sol A drop like this...

I haven't played a cleric since maybe original Kunark, and this change makes me smile. Tiny change to I assume a bad bottleneck making droves of people happy. Everquest may be slow to change, but the changes like this lately have made a strong positive impression on me.

Where do you see info like this? Test server, or discord maybe?

It seems to be about a 2% drop chance off any gobs in the zone, including the lowbie teen ones.

Can confirm in drops from the low-level gobbies on Test.

Took me just over an hour to get two of them. Both from level 11 mobs.

Wow. That's really going to tank the resell market on Teek (which is a good thing).

That's why they need to change Gimblox also. If he is unchanged then the problems just move to SolA from Lake Rathe. And with more crowns available simultaneously the bottleneck will be worse than ever.

Not as bad since it's still no drop on free trade servers iirc. Still a pretty toxic camp though.

You'll have the same people who camped Bergurgle and could kill him before it rendered on-screen moving to SolA. They haven't solved anything, just pushed it to another zone.

On Mischief the Sol A camp was monopolized (in main pick) by a mage who would ask for 1 krono to loot the drop heh. They wont be in picks though.

Oddly they belonged to a guild with an odd name, and everyone in the guild would be in south qeynos a lot (no idea why) - they kinda disappeared around pop.

Guess they were new to EQ or something.

No way to spin this but as a big improvement to the problem. Now do the same to the other Cleric mob and you will have a near solution.

Been camping gimblox on Test now for a few days (longest single camp was about 7hrs). Finally got him to spawn and he is tagged as a "rare" mob.
