Clerics and Corruption Cures on 'Combo' Heals

One thing that has bothered me over the years has been the reluctance of developers to add corruption cures to our 'combo' heal and cure spells (spells such as the Fraught Renewal and Word of Reformation lines). These spells currently cure counters for everything but corruption:

LV 100 Fraught Renewal Rk. III (Single Target)

    Description

    1: Increase Hitpoints by 16991
2: Decrease Poison Counter by 36
3: Decrease Disease Counter by 36
4: Decrease Curse Counter by 36

LV 100 Word of Reformation Rk. III (Group)

    Description

    1: Increase Hitpoints by 12227 (L100) to 24434 (L1)
2: Decrease Disease Counter by 34
3: Decrease Poison Counter by 34
4: Decrease Curse Counter by 25

Our only option for curing corruption via spells are dedicated curing spells:

Cleansed Blood Rk. III (Single Target)

    Description

1: Decrease Poison Counter by 38
2: Decrease Poison Counter by 38
3: Decrease Disease Counter by 38
4: Decrease Disease Counter by 38
5: Decrease Curse Counter by 48
6: Decrease Corruption counter by 48

    Abrogate Corruption Rk. III (Group)

    Description

1: Decrease Corruption counter by 52

I assume the intent was to force us to use dedicated curing spells to remove corruption, which was fine when corruption was first introduced and meant to be unique or special (augs even included corruption resist to reduce the chances of being effected by it). It's been several years since then, however, and other 'combo' heals have been introduced for other classes that can remove corruption:

LV 98 Splash of Cleansing Rk. III (Paladin Free Target AOE)

    Description

    1: Increase Hitpoints by 2276
2: Decrease Poison Counter by 25
3: Decrease Poison Counter by 25
4: Decrease Disease Counter by 25
5: Decrease Disease Counter by 25
6: Decrease Curse Counter by 20
7: Decrease Curse Counter by 20
8: Decrease Corruption counter by 14
9: Decrease Corruption counter by 14
    10: Remove Detrimental (66)
    11: Remove Detrimental (66)

LV 99 Cleansing Acquittal Rk. III (Cleric Group)

    Description

1: Add effect: Reverent Elixir Rk. III
2: Decrease Disease Counter by 30
3: Decrease Poison Counter by 30
4: Decrease Curse Counter by 21
5: Decrease Corruption counter by 12

I'm not sure if adding corruption cures to Acquittal was meant as an incentive to use it or simply an acknowledgement that 'combo' heals should cure at least a small amount of corruption. If it's the former, it won't have the desired effect since elixirs are usually cast in anticipation of damage, not as a reaction to it.

If it's the latter, then the Renewal and Word lines should be upgraded to include a small amount of corruption cures also:

    - Proposed - LV 100 Fraught Renewal Rk. III (Single Target)

    Description

    1: Increase Hitpoints by 16991
2: Decrease Poison Counter by 36
3: Decrease Disease Counter by 36
4: Decrease Curse Counter by 36
5: Decrease Corruption Counter by 36

    - Proposed - LV 100 Word of Reformation Rk. III (Group)

    Description

    1: Increase Hitpoints by 12227 (L100) to 24434 (L1)
2: Decrease Disease Counter by 34
3: Decrease Poison Counter by 34
4: Decrease Curse Counter by 25
5: Decreate Corruption Counter by 16

Though these spells could be twincasted to double the effect, they would not reach the curing potential of the dedicated cure spells in the same amount of time. This also assumes the Cleric is willing to sacrifice a spell gem slot for Glorious Rebuke (the direct damage spell that gives us an opportunity to receive the healing twincast buff), that there is a mob within line of sight, and that the spell actually lands on the mob (as a resist does not give us the healing twincast buff). So the dedicated cures would still be ideal in situations where the effect has to be removed quickly to avoid a DT or other major detrimental effect.

It would simply be a way for us to cure less damaging corruption effects while healing, and honestly, if any class should be able to cure corruption while healing, it should be us. I have no issues with Paladins having the ability to AOE cure it using Splash, but it seems silly that Clerics (one of the parent classes of Paladins and priests of purity) are unable to cure this one specific thing for our own group while healing.
