I made some videos while playing my cleric -

    Moloing a T1 named:

ToR raid (was boxing my bard, and edited out most of the bard stuff as it's very choppy and not exciting):

    Hope you like them. :)
    Crystilla and SanoBard like this.

Cool beans ~ Go solo all the ToR and Argin hiz named for me now so I can get some fantastical new bags, thanks! Hehe, grats though.. Don't think I could molo many named on zak, idk.

You are aware though that by posting video proof of a cleric capable of moloing a named, idiots will come out and start calling for nerfs and then having this referenced in the most obscure ways as a reason to nerf <insert_random_non-related_abilities_here>

I am reminded why I never cared too much boxing the cleric on raids all of a sudden. That's a lot of freakn mouse play there, idk how you do that.. Make more target/heal whatever hot-keys! Also, where teh hell are you hiding mild at? up on a wall?

I always like watching these kind of video, just to see how other people play. If I knew how to capture a video like this while I play, and then post to youtube I would! Could see how I am so amazing at playing the warrior!.. Or how often I hit agro key, then def.. then tab over to watch some netflix!! or how I talk about furro when he's in the group and chat it up with the other warriors while he twiddles his stubby thumbs around healing and blowing gaskets :)

Do you people forget that posting videos about cool stuff leads to nerfs? (even if any other class do the same stuff much better).
This named is undead, so it didn't take eons to kill this. Kill live named, but i guess that youtube doesn't support so long videos (/sarcasm).

What is the command to crop the screen like that?

I knew it at one time but because I put everything on the bottom of my screen, it just wasnt beneficial to do. I never gave it any thought, to push everything to the side. I know, if it was a snake it woulda bit me but it never occurred to me until I watched your videos.

Really interesting videos to watch. One of the things that I'm curious about is one of your GINA overlays, the one with blue timers, that seems to show who is casting what.

Can you explain the usefulness or what you are looking for on that?
  8. Sirene_Fippy Okayest Bard

The blue timers are a timer overlay called "other heals." It starts a timer when I see another priest cast only healing spells I have it set up for.

ex: {s} begins to cast a spell. <Reverent Light

Starts a 2.2s timer that displays Light - {s} in the timer window.

I don't always look at it, but in certain situations it can be very helpful - especially when it comes to timing heals (and a lot of healers are on the MT).

The overlay sorts each timer in order by time remaining. So at this point in time, I can see what is going to happen - VZ is going to summon the MT, then a cleric in the MT group is going to land a group heal. Then a druid lands Sterivida. Then a shaman lands Mending.

I like this overlay for PoWar in particular because I can roughly predict when VZ is going to summon, and time heals appropriately.

This is an example of a bunch of heals landing at the same time. 15th will land first, and a subsecond later we will see a pally heal and Stemfang, followed by Sterivida and a group heal at roughly the same time.

This is really only useful when everyone is healing one tank, since I can't tell what the other healers are targeting.

That's what I was thinking it was for, but like you said in the last line, it's only useful when you have one person being healed.

I play a shaman, so contantly am switching between healing offtanks or my squishy dps group, and the main tank. Not sure how useful I'd find it, not to mention how long it probably took you to set up each of the class's heals.

Thanks anyway for explaining it. I've recently implemented your overlay that shows who you healed and how much and am loving it.
