Character not able to gain AA's off blue mobs

Leveling a tinker, took her to PoEarth to grind through some quick AA's for Mastery and Salvage, and at a slider bar of 100% to AA, she gained 6% AA and 1.5 levels of XP.

Tried with /alternateadv on 100, tried with the slider bar, tried taking auto-enable off, tried with and without XP potions, tried those all again zoning and/or logging out in-between, tried deleting the ui files suggested in an archived version of this thread. Nothing changed.

Other characters on that account are gaining xp correctly, just not that one character. Its not a banked cap issue either, only 2 points banked.

Only AA came from killing something that was a yellow con to her. Not sure what to do to fix this.

There is a safe guard in place to help prevent extreme AA farming on lower characters. The highest level character in the group has to get exp, and it can't be green cons. If I remember correctly low light blues might even be to low pending the level gap.

The reason you got AA exp from the Yellow Con was due to it being in the allowed AA exp range for the level gap.

More specifically, AA xp for the group is tied to whatever the mob cons to the highest level player in the group. If the mob is gray to the higher level character, the lower level character gets no AA xp. If it's green to the higher level player, the lower level player gets the amount of AA xp they'd get by killing something that cons green to them.

Regular xp is based on the con to the actual player, so you can get regular xp while not being able to get AA xp. If you're trying to power level the midget, that could be your problem.

That would, in fact, explain everything.

I thought as long as it was (well) within the level range for XP it would be all good.
