I had this happen to me when I initially tried to purchase but closed my browser completely and went back in and it worked just fine.

Not a double charge problem. I click buy now on ring of scale page and get the error page listed above
Same problem on any browser or device. It should be noted that I am able to purchase station cash so it isn't a card issue.
