Agreed, it's mostly a solution, but doesn't handle things that just come up. Like, a friend wants help with their epic/some old progression, something like that. It's a pain having to say you won't help, cause you've got 3 hours of a 4 hour pot running. With 30 minute durations, you can tell your friend to just wait 20-25 minutes while the pot runs out, and then go help them.

Here is an idea...perhaps doable. Allow pausing on all buffs including xp bonus with a mandatory 5 minute runoff each time a buff manually is paused. When paused you lose the benefit. Perhaps with this we could allow buffs to persist through death with death sickness automatically pausing buffs.
