Can we get at least 72 hours of playtime without "emergency patches"?

If I wanted to pay 15 bucks a month to use a chat room, I'd just download AOL.

I wish eq was a offline game. I mainly play with my merc anyways.

I'm going to say that no we probably cannot get 3 days of uninterrupted game time. I don't think the people in charge know what they are doing anymore.

What gets here first? Servers come back up or I get my wish.com order?

Right now I am betting on my boys in China.

Well, you know, with the huge accumulation of issues and service disruptions during the last weeks and months, we're about to restart our good old EQEmu server.
We changed our barebone recently, so it's not reinstalled (and it's also better to recompile it from scratch , with probably a couple of updates and improvements here and there) but as all access members, we pay for the game because we love to play it.

It's the first and main reason.
But if the official game is unplayable, constantly half broken, on maintenance with emergency shutdowns and breakdowns every single week and so on, we'll use other ways to play our prefered game, plain and simple.
