A friend is returning after a long absence and isn't keen on buying the expac since she's not fully committed to returning. I offered to buy her a TBL key. But I'm not seeing how it can be done. It used to be through Amazon. Is it possible to gift someone a key?
They no longer sell keys. The only real way to gift would be to get their account info (against the EULA) or find out their paypal info and deposit the funds there for them to purchase the expansion. You could also just give them cold hard cash or even one of those visa gift cards should work.
This was in response to some account key hack where fake but usable keys were being sold via steam or something like this. Hundreds if not thousands of people bought these keys, had access to TBM (?) and then later got the expansion stripped away from them. After that I have not seen account keys being sold. Don't get mad at DBG get mad at the jerks who ripped everyone off. These guys ruined a good thing for everyone.
