Darn. I bought it when it was new and shiny months ago. Now it's old and worn out. How about a rebate?
You must be confused because EverQuest has not released a boxed version in at least 4 or 5 years. So only 14 expansions have had boxed versions (well 13 had boxes and LoY just had a CD case since it was originally DD only way back then). Secrets of Faydwer was the last expansion that had a boxed version. Everything since has been Digital Download only. Aside from the fact that they save a lot of money by not doing releasing boxed versions, SOE also doesn't do boxed versions because they are outdated even even before the game is released. Even when you would buy the game back in the day and install it you still had to go thru hours of downloading patches on launch day. As others have said, if you want a hard copy make yourself one. Any system which is capable of playing EQ today is likely to have a DVD R/W or possibly even a BD R/W on it that would allow you to burn your EQ directory to them; will take 2 or 3 DVDs or 1 BD. The copy you make will also be far more useful when restoring or moving EQ than anything SOE could sell you.
