http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/npc.html?id=11036 Right-clicking on him after defeating Emmerik Skyfury and hailing Askr the Lost opens a merchant window, with nothing to purchase. It no longer ports you to Agnarr. As such, the event breaks before the final boss.
