Back around the HoT era, for a weekend, Sony boosted the spawn rate of named. Boy did they ever. People were gearing a toon in full Lucid in about one hour because the spawn rate was so ridiculous. After four hours in SS and one named sighting, I would love to see that again. Some of these shy named need to show up more often.
Don't tell anyone this as SOE might get upset for spilling the beans, but... There is a hidden character flag for SOE Developer Faction that has four states. Liked by SOE (1), Disliked by SOE (-1), Meh (0) and one other that we won't go into just right now. On toon creation, this flag is set to Meh. The Random Number Generator is coded in such a way that the SOE Developer Faction flag is used to weight the results. So anything in game that relies on the RNG will be affected by your standings with this faction. Since the whole game is built around the RNG, just about anything you try will be affected. It is quite obvious to me that sometime in the past you got on the good side of SOE and had your faction set to Liked by SOE (1) and the OP did something that cause them to set his/hers to Disliked by SOE (-1). The OP is essentially screwed because it is going to take some serious *** kissing to wipe out that faction adjustment.
asking for this and noting that you managed to get enough nameds in an hour to fully gear soemone istn a good way to get them to oblige. citing your 4hours with only 1 named, is, but bringing up an extreme that would make it seem so ridiculous that it would end up hurting the gameplay in the future (due to people being "done" and not needing or wantingto keep doing things til next expac) isnt a good way to do so. itd be sorta like saying we need more double xp weekends bc so and so got 500aa in an hour and im now getting 10 an hour. a 50x normal incident is never good for the game in the longterm even if its exciting in thevery shortterm. named spawnrates are no different. if a namedn ormally spawns once in 10 cycles then asking for it ot spawn every cycle isnt going ot get listened to
