So I tried to combine the Vxed part items and it failed. Checked on allakhazam, it says it fails when you didn't speak with Vaifan, which I'm 100% sure I did (was also noted as done on my checklist). Tried to contact support, but they said : So what do I do? farm again those items for a few 100hours and try again? (I'm exaggerating, but they the Greased Belt were a pain to get). What if it fails again?...
I remember a thread about this quest having a bug at some point. Can't remember which step, though. I'd fill out a bug report and hope for the best.
Well its clear DBG will not help you. 1. My personal recommendations, as mentioned above, file a bug report and hope it gets fixed by time you're back at the step. 2. Farm the items again. When you're at the same point get a recording software and record everything. If it happens again, at least this time you have video proof of the bug. If DBG will still not help you if it bugs again, then all hope is lost for DBG.
