I'm really struggling to find a good use for this spell. I was very excited when I got it, but it seems like every time it procs, you have to reapply the buff on your pet. It feels like i'm just chain casting the spell. Is there really any use for it that i'm just missing? The spell description itself doesn't say anything about being limited to 1 proc; only that it lasts 10 minutes. I just can't see any benefit to using this over just casting slow directly from the beastlord.
for me it's very situational, it's resist mod is slightly better then our slow spell and aa though so it tends to land better on hard to slow targets. and of course, it's another way of slowing something, when spell or aa is down. we get more pet procs that are very situational at best though. o well.
I've played around with it some and never found a good use, especially once you get AA slow. I think the devs realized this and that's why the slow pet proc line ends with HoT.
