firstly, can beast tank named in OoW? will very slowly get raid gear but mostly be hunting group named. was thinking of boxing beast/cleric?
Bst and druid are a very good combo. You get slow from you bst and all the atk buffs in the world from the druid. That alone will mske you able to tank most things. Baring adds and splits and such. And event then druid has some cc in form of push back roots thats called vinelash so if they are rootble you can solve it that way. Bst and druid duo has most of the games utility build in to them classes. Ports. forage. evac. mana buffs. pet offtanking killer dps. Root cc .emergency defesive disc. tons of healing. Most of the base line buffs
Can anyone speak to the beastlords ability to tank and land slows in OoW content? Specifically named mobs
The game is completely different now compared to original OOW. Melee are crazy more powerful (And they get weapon augs). Everyone has better defense too. Anyone who is commenting on original exp would be underestimating how powerful melee are nowadays. TLP is "similar" to classic, but not actual classic.
that is to say beasts can tank named in OoW? i get that the expac is far less difficult this time around. or rather that melee classes are far better this time around
the new ability of pets to hold aggro on non raid content makes pet tanking very awesome. it used to be that mobs would instantly change target to nearest PC if one was in range regardless of how much aggro a pet had, now the pet can keep the NPC attention.
