Hi New bard I am looking at a melody line for holding agro, AE doting mobs. Need to take the hits and let the mobs die off me, while being healed by group and not losing agro. Is this possible ?
I know this is an older post... But, I have rolled 3 bards and to be honest. My problem at lower levels is always too-much aggro. Even with tanks taunting mobs , they cannot seem to taunt mobs off me. And that's without singing AE songs. Only buff songs................ In later levels it will be difficult to main tank mobs only because the DPS really starts to fall off to the way-side. My bard still main tanks every now and then on RageFire at level 53. At 53, there just isnt really an effective way to gain hate. I recently looted the journeyman's walking stick and the Tashini-proc + all my other weapon procs seem to help. Obviously you could charm or mez a mob for aggro ( but I don't think it's worth the effort if u are already mid-battle ).
