In 2018 they removed the ability to activate it with a hot key. So it is automatic now and they also made it so it could be triggered by damage-over-time and target's-target spells. Not much reason to worry about it since we cannot control it any longer. Just another line that scrolls past when engaged in fighting.
At least it does increase the DPS (also for DD spells) and rewards rolling in but at some point it is pretty pointless without the tactical usage possibility.
I agree. I liked having the ability to activate it when I wanted to instead of just a passive dps booster that fires whenever.
I kinda like that it is a passive addition to my damage. Otherwise it would just be yet another macro-line for my spam-button.
