Hi there Just did Baga's Stand on my druid character on Ragefire. I and another guildie didnt get the Alaran update. Clicked book but no update. Can anyone help please? Tirya, Ragefire
It sort of is and sort of isn't. If you do Baga's Stand, with no skill in Alaran, Clicking the Ancient Text provides the 5 skill. If you do Baga's Stand, with any skill in Alaran, you need to click the Ancient Text AND click any other text from a VoA mission/task. Not that I believe it needs a code fix, but some guidance on the Ancient Text lore might be helpful to remove confusion. I believe it simply has to do with the Ancient Text adding 5 skill + boosting the cap by 5, AND the way that VoA Alaran language progression is coded... to update via book clicks checking completion flags. Anyways, it sorts itself out naturally, unless you're at 100 skill prior to completing Baga's Stand and then have to hunt down a book from a VoA mission/task. Otherwise, as soon as you go back to working on the language quests, it will update on the next book click.
