I have a possible upgrade aug for my heroic SK, and I don't know how to weight the stats to know which is better. The first is: https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=116467 30AC, 40HP, +3HAgi The second is: https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=111880 25AC, STR: 0+3 DEX: 0+3 HP: +150 MANA: +100 ENDUR: +100 Basically, giving up 5AC for 110 HP, lose 3 HAgi for 3 each of Str and Dex. Mana and endurance also a bonus. My thoughts are that the Imbued Feather (second one) is definitely and upgrade, if not for the 5AC loss. Seems like when I hear tanks talk about augs, AC is king, so that's what gives me pause.
Imbued Feather is better. I'm a tank, and for me AC is not king anymore. I use a ratio of 1 AC = 10 HP.
AC is king only for shield aug. Otherwise some balance of AC/HP/hAGI/hSTA/hDEX should be your criteria for other armor augments. A group knight generally chooses hDex as the decider. I just keep my aug choices simple while leveling and go straight for AC/HDex and don't plan to worry about fine tuning the stats vs hp vs ac until I am max level.
