    Raid times:
We raid: Sunday, Monday and Wednesday at 7 pm CET to 10 pm CET, 10 am PST to 1 pm PST, 1 pm EST to 4 pm EST (during patch weeks if the patch is not done before raid start, we raid Thursdays instead of Wednesdays), when an expansion is on farm we will cut down to Sundays and Mondays for official raids.

    What can you expect?
We will clear content in era, but we will not bat phone you while you are eating dinner with your family or out doing you (or your friends)! ;D

We have a long track record on previous servers of regularly lottoing out the guildbank and sharing the guild funds with the guild via Krono lottos. We believe, as with RL and work, that making it easier for people to stay honest and nice is the best way to go about things in EQ as well. Having an honest and good leadership that manages the wealth of the guild fairly to benefit every member, will be even more important on this server than any other!

    Becoming a member:
We accept boxers and non-boxers alike. In EQ however, it is usually smart to play at least 2 or 3 characters, we do recommend that you play at least 3 characters so that you can do most things in game while waiting to join a group or forming a group, that said we already have quite a few members who have announced that they will mainly duo box.

If you play 3 characters in the guild, one of them has to be a healer class (cle, druid or shaman). If you play 4 or more characters, at least one of them has to be a bard. If you play 6 characters or more, every 6 man team needs to contain at a minimum of a bard and a cleric.
Allot of us who are playing EQ today are not kids anymore (well we don't look like kids anymore :p), but instead have busy work and family lives. This will sometimes mean that you may need to afk for 30 to 60 min at random, this does not always work if you are in a group with other people. So, if you have the need to box 6 characters to give you flexibility when you play, we will help you with input on hardware setup, hotkey setup for different classes to help you play as efficiently as possible within the Truebox rules :)

We do generally not recommend that you play more than 6 characters, unless you put allot of thought in to what classes you play and you are up for the challenge. Members of the guild have efficiently played 18 to 24 characters legitimately on a truebox server, but you will need fast KVM switches and very fast hands/muscle memory to do that well :)

    Boxing:
The reason why we recommend a minimum number at 3 characters is because it’s pretty manageable for most people, also it opens up for teaming up to make groups, and with 3 characters you can at least get stuff done if you cannot find a group.
We have been boxing legitimately under truebox for years, we will provide resources on hotbuttons for classes, hardware setup and more for our members, to help them legitimately truebox on the server.

    DKP:
Box’s will earn their own DKP when they attend raids, but they cannot bid more than 20 dkp against a main. You will need 30% raid attendance (RA30) to be able to bid on raids.

    Krono lottoes:
The guild bank will be lottoed out from time to time on raids, with krono lottoes. The Kronos will be lottoed at a flat rate of 20 dkp (may change) were you bid with your raid attendance over the last 30 days (RA30) of your main, if there are any ties, RA 60/90 will be used. You cannot buy more then 1 Krono before everyone who has bid has won at least one, the same goes for a second or third as well.

    Loot rules:
Check out our web page for the full list (they may get updated as we learn more about the server): http://eq-avengers.com/

    Here are some tidbits:
You can only upgrade a slot on a character 1 time per expansion. The only exceptions is for mains, they can upgrade as many times as they want, but their old items that gets replaced goes back to the guild and in to a new lotto with a min bid equal to what they paid for the item originally. If no one is willing to pay the same or more for it, the item will go to the guildbank for KR lottoes.

Members can sell their raid item on the open market once they get an upgrade for that slot in the expansion after the one they won the item in (raid or group item).
Anyone who sells raid items in era, will be removed from the guild, officers will pay attention to this, but all members are encouraged to help each other stay honest. If you are removed from the guild for this offence you can reapply to the guild (with a loss of all DKP), but it will be at the discretion of the officers and members.

Any item that is not bid on during a raid, will go to the guild bank and sold for guild funds. Guild funds will regularly be redistributed back to the guild via Krono lottoes.

Epic items, spells and quest items will be handed out to the guild based on attendance, to best benefit the guild.

    Discord:
You are required to use it and to be able to listen to raid instructions, but it is not required that you speak in discord.

Some boxing tips for the new server (more will be available to guild members)

Below you can see an example of a legitimate 12 box truebox setup.

The small PC’s you see on the desk are Intel NUC NUC6CAYH Celeron J3455 with 8 gig memory and 120 gb SSD, that is all you need to run EQ. 4 of the 6 keyboard/mouses and screens are connected to KVM switches (ATEN CS84U 4-port PS/2-USB KVM Switch), these are passive, so they do not need their own power supply and thereby also produce less heat, this model is also very fast for switching between computers.
The last 2 screens/keyboards and mousses are dedicated to your main tank and healer (PC's), for faster reaction times.

The main things you need to think about when boxing on a truebox server is having good hotbuttons in the same place on your hotbar on each character. For example make a hot button to assist, with a command to send in a pet and cast a nuke with a delay or to debuff the mob. That way you can quickly cycle through your computers on the KVM switches hitting the same button to “start up” each character.
Having a hotbutton dedicated to make a box follow your main, is also great for avoiding trains, also if a mob is not snared and runs, have your box’s follow your main and just make sure the mob is between your main and the melee box’s on /follow and they will all beat the mob down :D

Also when camping stuff, place all your melee box’s a tiny bit out from the wall in a location mobs naturally path to. When you pull, run past your melees, to the wall, sit down and wait for the mob to come and hit you, that way the mobs come all the way in to camp, if you don’t have a bard song/heal/buff pull aggro off you, this will also pull big pulls with several mobs to the location you want. You’ll find more info on boxing in our members section, so come join us :)

If you want to be part of the great leadership team of the guild, please post in the channel on discord! :)

PS: If they announce a box friendly version of this server, we will move there so that we can spend less time micromanaging our box’s and more time enjoying the game :)

With botting focused guilds I've noticed it's really hard to get groups because everyone is just doing their own thing.

What do you guys do to promote grouping? Or is doing your own thing the style of player you're mostly looking for and raiding is the only time you really come together?

I ask because I'm interested in joining but I only plan to duo.

For truebox servers, in general, most people either fall in the category that it is not practical to have 6 or more computers running at the same time or they do not want to. Or they fall in to the category that it is not practical for them to spend an extended amount of time (hours maybe) 100% active in groups to earn xp/lvl because they have to afk for 30 min to an hour every now and then for work or kids, and they have to make the effort of having 6 computers to see enough/any meaningful progression to stay relevant on a faster unlock TLP server.

Most people fall in to the first category, like in our guild, 90% of the guild will bee playing 2 to 3 characters like in the other guilds on the server, so there will be the same amount of opportunity to group in our guild as in any other guild on the server :)

The only difference between us and other guilds, is that we also actively make room for and help make everquest as enjoyable as it can be for people who fall in to the second category, so that even if you are super busy with work or kids, they still have a chance to have fun and play EQ :)

Thank you for the insight. It's good to hear, from leadership, that you intend to promote "making room for guildies" as that can trickle down to the members.

A lot of folks hate boxers, but in defense of them, some of the most helpful people in my previous guild were 6 man boxing teams that would come out to help me finish an epic. I understand that's why some people don't like boxers - but to the person being helped, it sure was nice.

Anyway, thanks again. I'll reach out if me and my crew are interested in joining.

Most people don't hate boxers, most people who play EQ box at least 1 or more characters. There is just a very small toxic and vocal minority who has been allowed to run rampant on the forums. Don't let it skew your impression of the average EQ player though, we are allot nicer then them :)

I am a bit confused, so its 3+ EU guilds coming to new servers, probably all on Mischief? Its always finish as all EU guilds merge to one, just depends of time, so why create few EU guilds maybe cooperate with Lemmings, them seems bigger of members atm?

I've been leading EU guilds in EQ since 99, usually most of them end up with 50% day time raiders (retired people and so on) or third shift people from the US. The EU raid times does not limit a guild to only EU people, fare from it :)

As fare as I can see (just checked), there are only 2 EU time zone guilds on Mischief, and besides, not everyone wants to be a member of a large zerge guild.
