I feel like a total newbie here, but on the same account, if I have one character with the /assist on feature, I then log on my chanter on the same account and the bloody command has transferred over to him as well. I disable it and sure enough it's disabled on my previous toon as well. I have been using the same EQ directory for OMG 10 years, copied and perverted for so long... I was under the impression each char has its own .ini file where these settings were set and stored. Is there some sort of global setting that overrides it? I am at work and keep forgetting to look into this LOL.
AttackOnAssist=TRUE (or FALSE) is located in the eqclient.ini file which is shared between toons. Also, I believe if you use the same EQ directory for multiple accounts, all toons on all accounts will use the settings from that one eqclient.ini file - I'd have to try to be sure since it's been a while, I prefer to use two different directories for my two accounts.
