I am not trying to speak for them nor imply that their ambitions mirror my own, but I do support their efforts and appreciate the simple fact that their guild, some way/some how, has managed to be on Zek over the years. They are the only remaining guild you could consider having any resemblance whatsoever to those that originally came here when the 3 Zek's combined. That guild, of which the Ascending Dawn of today still holds a few of those members, was the guild that basically won, or outlasted all the other competition. However, once that occurred the fall of the server's population or any reason to be there other than 1. Be a guild member in AsD or 2. Be everyone else with a grudge doing anything they could whatsoever to make them fold as well; ensued. I am in another guild, a recently(within the last year) formed guild of other players. We offer a slightly different atmosphere and general makeup of players and probably what differs the most between us is our personalities or how much we enjoy the PvP aspect of the server. It's important to me that anyone looking into Zek and either of it's largest guilds at this time be able to have a good feel for which guild might best suit them. Thanks for elaborating/expounding on that kind of stuff here. And, as I stated, AsD does have some players from many different time periods over the years still within it's ranks. Several things about them may be of particular interest or atleast worthy of respect a little respect from the PvP/Zek community. Over here, in our guild(CE), we have another issue we are facing that's particularly troublesome for us. One of the big lessons I learned in life were simple ones, ones often found in engineering and the military, people deserve some basic treatments for their efforts or lack thereof, and shown a little respect while addressing both of those. Credit where credit is due is a big underlying theme in those environments and how hard you work is rewarded accordingly(what your guild receives little of). The second part of that 2 phrase often used theme that together pretty much sum up standards of practice, is criticism where it will be constructive(what our guild gets too much of). Just like our country is mostly spread down the middle between political parties, each finding a certain different kind of way to "go after" each other. We experience the same general 2 party system here on Zek, and there is a high chance that between the 2 guilds here now we represent a large portion of anyone who might be interested. People tend to do one thing or the other. It's not so complicated when it comes down to it why the server needs 2 guilds, atleast. Communism(One party system) just isn't going to work. I hope our ability to get past old feelings and rigid stubbornness between certain individuals and move on to a better, more professional and civilized relationship on Zek despite the various ways in which we find our guildies competing against one another can atleast be cordial; supportive of competition in whatever ways those are, whether its raids, group content, gaining more members or PvPing from now moving forward. If any of you want to have any discussions with me personally, about specific things and not general statements, assertions or down right open accusations with no specifics, Like your guild does this, your guild does that, people in your guild have only ever been about , that sort of thing. I welcome the conversation, if it will be worth having. Lastly, I've never played another character class but Monk. I think I leveled up a warrior back in the day, to level 35 or so, maybe it was 2000 or 2001. I've always been interested about other mains, why they like it and particularly what keeps them interested and active on Zek, sometimes I just wanted to raid so badly I had to movelog. Perhaps some of your members would care to talk about what interests them, keeps them playing, or they in anyway enjoy about being in AsD that might shed some light on what someone else looking into the server at this time might not expect or might better draw their interest to your guild or atleast choosing between the 2 guilds there upon moving here. It would be interesting to me anyways. I really like raiding but my internet connection isn't that good and the last several times I was on blue doing mostly only that for the majority of the year I got rather bored of the repeated, seemingly redundant grind expansion after expansion. We have something else we can offer players here such as myself or that have experienced these feelings towards/about Everquest, and perhaps others have other experiences as well they'd like to share and I'd appreciate them taking the time to express if they think it would be worth their time doing so.

We have 5 Tradeskill members ready to make and CoV T3 gear you need, once you hit L115. We are flagging 5 new members a week with all 4 of the CoV HAs for progression and the DPS Familiar. Glad to see AD is still around. I remember this guild being the top server guild years ago. I've been thinking about coming back to the game but the idea of locating Magus Imperialis Magicus on another random progression server and rejoining doesn't seem that appealing. There is only so many times I can redo Vex Thal and POP. Not sure I want to do that again. Any former MIM still playing?
