Got my toon to 60, got another toon to 53 and when he's done its time to start persona stuff, so yeah.. just ROIDED out low level stuff happening. Gotta keep the low level scene alive and well. [IMG]

Just ignore people like this guy. SMH

The starting areas are not as busy as the first few weeks. Which probably makes them a lot easier to get through. Take your time and enjoy the game! Lots of people are still leveling up

I wouldn't say dead just yet but they are barely functional as leveling zones. Last night around 8 cst there were no picks of CB. 4 people at castle with a 55+ pulling the zone for them.

5 picks of unrest with nothing up because each pick had a group in MR with someone pulling the zone to them.

The zones are not usable by anyone but the groups getting PL'd.

Picks may eventually need a revamp to allow for the way the game is being played now.

Specifically if you have 2-4 level 60 players pulling an entire zone a pick has to be made. They take over an entire zone made for a dozen people. It should be something along the line of total levels rather then number of accounts. i.e. 4 level 60 => 240 score towards a new pick or 10 level 24 characters.

At this stage I wonder if there is any "new blood" out there that is still interested in grinding out levels.

Server has been completely trivialized to make it extremely easy. Ofc it's going to be like this. Most people are level 60 and in their bis by now and either moved on or they're just farming krono. What else is there really to do? The harder servers have the appeal of overcoming a challenge.

I started on Teek May 15th or so. Got a SHM to 51 then switch to an ENC now 50... haven't really had any issues with finding people on either character. I don't box. Mileage may vary.

Gave away some stuff and moved back to Agnarr.

I just don't feel comfortable on Teek. Lots to draw interest, just isn't my cup of tea. Logged in to Teek today and spent the first couple of minutes mostly putting people on ignore, then says to me self F'it and logged out. I guess for some people playing the RMT game being involved really appeals to them. I think Vegas does more business than most other venues, makes sense on some levels: Real skin in the game.

    I've got characters at the following levels on Teek: 60, 54, 42, 35, 30, 28, 27, 21, 10, 5, 2, 2.

I've had zero problems finding a group in 10-15 min at any time of day in the popular zones.

The initial rush is over. Shouldn't really expect the newby areas to be bustling 6 weeks into a TLP. That rush lasts about one or two weeks. We are now halfway thru Kunark/Classic and many are already starting to raid log for Velious. Velious is only 8 weeks as opposed to 12 weeks for the launch so expect the server to be very busy for 4 to 5 weeks followed by more raid logging until Luclin drops. Once AA is in, the server will stay busy for the almost the entirety of an expansion with the exception of POP/LDON because that is still excessively long.

You will encounter PL groups in the 1-40 zones but grouping should still be plentiful in the usual spots, Kurns, Unrest, Lguk, CoM, and then your higher level zones Karnors/Seb, and finally Chardok for the grind to 60.

If you are soloing alot to caught up Shammy Pots can help you do that, also Joining a Guild will also help Even peeps with level 60 toons will come out and play a low lvl alt. to help you level. Even When the server launched and there were 100 peeps in Okkack on multiple picks I soloed till 9 as a sham and then Got into Grps in NoRo(Orcs) , SoRo(Crocs) and especially the Orc camps in Commons and Drakes and Fire Elementals in LAVA Storm . Then Sol A The Other side of the world would be areas like crush bone and then UnRest . But Most peeps play close to the Tunnel for trading

Thats because of the Tower Gear . So a lot Of the Past Uber Gear isn't Uber anymore people are giving it away o selling it to NPC Venders . Peeps Giving away away Fear and Hate gear . They should have capped the Tower Gear to lvl 35 Gear on the TLPs Not to 55 . 55 Could have Unlocked at POP . The 55 Gear is on par with top end POP Gear such as Time gear which is really dumb . When Vellios unlocks in my opinion the server will die. A lot of peeps now just making Krono to pay for their accounts to play on other servers or even the new TLE EQ2 which doesn't have Krono.

no, i also made an iksar monk about 3-4 weeks ago, level 35 now and there was a lot of people in the starting areas i was in

i was even able to get some small groups going with my 2 box in the field of bone pit area, and kurns tower

I'd quit before you started. You'll just get your camps taken by level 60 box squads at level 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, and oh yeah, 60. It's actually pretty pointless unless your only goal is to raid and then battle boxes for loot.

I had no problem grouping on my persona starting last Friday. Made it to level 49 all by grouping and during which I met several people who had just started this week playing EQ, some never played before, others hadn't played in 20 years.
