anyway to downgrade the shawl 3.0 aug? ridiculous passive click on 2.0

Not sure why or how this was done, but the shawl 2.0 now has an additional click buff that adds something like 500ac, some resist, hme or some such. It's a permanent passive buff. We only noticed because someone in the guild was actively working on it and happened to click the 2.0.

Is there any way to downgrade the 3.0 back to the 2.0 so we can click that buff? Or better yet, just add it to the aug... kind of ridiculous that we get penalized for completing a quest earlier.

Going to be pretty pissed if I have to redo the shawl on every toon for it...

Yes you can, destroy and hail for the group or raid level of the shoulder/belt item.

Do you not have a current range item with a better prismatic ward on it? Shawls prismatic ward/soothing breath/expanding mind didn't stack above my higher level prismatic ward/soothing breath/expanding mind.

Shawl 2.0 buff is inferior to the currently available ranks for Expanding Mind, Knowledge of the Past, Soothing Breath and Prismatic Ward, and doesn't stack with them. Use them. No reason to downgrade your shawl.

Hmm, my understanding was that it stacked with those, but I don't actually have the click so I can't test. If that is the case, then false alarm, resume fixing the other million broken things in TBM

They all stack passively now but only the highest level of the buff. If you are remotely close to max level you will have superior item clicks to give you the passive AAs.

my guess is that it does in fact stack. When they first implemented the new stuff you were getting double from AA and then still having the old buff (until it faded)
