Looking into this - for now you should be able to log in by bypassing the patcher.

To do this:

1. Open cmd (Start > Run > cmd)
2. Navigate to your EQ directory (ex: cd "C:\Users\Public\Daybreak Game Company\Installed Games\EverQuest" )
3. eqgame.exe patchme

So everyone has this issue? Can we just wait till you guys get it resolved?

also having issues

I was. I had some Windows updates to run, ran those and rebooted and can log in, not sure if they are connected or not, but I can log in now.

I am having the same log in SocketError Host Not Found

Going to try the work around that Niente suggested

as of 8pm pst, cannot re-login back into the game.
Game launched from launchpad, and old version login screen pops up saying no connection to server.

Can confirm also bypassing patcher will not even work

I can confirm that this is also not working.
