    Hello Everyone,
We are excited to announce AgnarrKills.com.
As many of you know PhinnyKills.com was the first Everquest Progression tracking ive ever been apart of. I had alot of things to learn, and am still learning. And I'm looking forward bringing what ive learnt, the good/bad/ugly, to the new TLP Server site.

The site will continue to track all era's of content for both servers.
We look forward to seeing all a lot of the familiar faces / guilds over on Agnarr, even if its for a more casual play style for some!

I have more updates planned for the site, which will continue to be rolled out over the next few weeks. And I am also planning a server host migration this month, GoDaddy is just to damn expensive!

Again thanks to all who use / support the work I do, I do this for the community, and my own enjoyment.

Draax, I know I am jumping the gun here but please don't add the ancients to the list of Agnarr kills in Luclin. Wardens = ancients so maybe warden/ancients. We don't want to encourage anyone to go wake the sleeper in order to have a webpage claim they had some server first...

Thank you for maintaining these sites dude! Lots of work I am sure!

Daax that is awesome. Thanks for everything you do to help the community!

Why? If you're racing for kills on Agnarr, you've missed the entire point of the server.

Everyone has their center. You gotta respect it even if you don't understand it!

people said the same thing about ragefire/lockjaw, and phinny

and yet people raced for kills on all 3. at some point people will realize there are many different things that others get enjoyment out of.

it's a small minority on these TLP servers that really care about racing. the rest of the guilds follow suit on the kill boards because they don't want to get left out. easiest way to make kill boards obsolete if that's your thing is to have most of the guilds not participate at all.

Most of the guilds on Phinnykills.com are not racing for kills, but it's still cool to be able to see how quickly they each progress, what the history of each guild is, and have a nice place to click links to each guild's website. The purpose is not simply to compare e-**** sizes.

Its also a good tool for people returning / looking to apply to a raiding guild, the list shows where guilds are at and you can easily find their website / application info etc.

I am curious how you rank guilds Daax. I was looking at Phinny kills and I get you rank by the furthest someone got the quickest in the expansion. But what if two guilds killed it on the same night, shouldn't you go back to the next highest kill and see who killed that first, all the way to find who had the first kills?

For instance why is IVAS ahead of MiM when they both completed time on 2/16 but MiM beat Phase 4 on 2/15 before IVAS did on 2/16? Shouldn't logical sense mean that MiM is ahead of IVAS because they were equal on their last kill so the second highest kill was MiM so they should be higher.

Also Resolute and Rosenguard They killed the mobs on the exact same day all the way back to Tier 2 where Resolute beat Rosenguard, but Rosenguard is ahead of Resolute on the standings?

Again with Sad Dragons and Darkwind, Clearly Sad Dragons beat Darkwind to every single kill but they killed Quarm on the exact same day but somehow Darkwind is ahead of Sad Dragons? In what crazy world does that make sense Daax? You can beat a guild to every single kill the entire expansion and you kill the very last boss on the same day and suddenly they are "higher" than you are in the ranking?

How do you base the rankings in situations like this, because the way you do it makes absolutely zero sense to me and if it's not about ranking guilds then why not just put them in alphabetical order?

Same day kill goes to whichever killed it first on that day. The Phinnykills list for PoP is sorted by actual Quarm kill times when more than one guild got it on the same day, even if the times aren't explicitly listed. That's how I have been doing it going back four years now on Fippykills.com. Daax always might change that, but at least up to this point that's what you're seeing.

For instance, yes, Darkwind is before Sad Dragons because Darkwind is a Euro guild, raids earlier in the day, and got the kill hours before Sad Dragons did. I did not take into account anything that happened before Quarm, because frankly, once a guild kills quarm, none of the rest of it matters. Quarm is the ultimate aim, and everything before that is just prelude.

Also, let me add, before someone argues that Euro guilds have an advantage because they raid earlier. The opposite is actually the case, because expansions launch at 5 PM on the East Coast (2 PM Pacific) and that happens to be 11 PM CET, when all the Euros are going to bed. For guilds that are going to go hard 24/7 on launches that doesn't matter, but for guilds that are going to raid from 6-10pm in their respective timezones, that's a full day's advantage for the American guilds.

Appreciate all the words guys, also dont forget Machen started all this originally and has helped keep it going.

Are you going to be not tracking LDoN on Agnarr also?
  20. Daax Elder

I probably will track it for Agnarr since it locks there.

Im not against tracking it, its just most of the guilds i spoke with on phinny didnt really think it mattered / was needed as the raids are trivial.
