Update: all 13 clues are solved, one bonus item has been found that doesn't correspond to a known clue.

Looks this has been solved assuming the systemwide proclamation from Halas is the 'win' message.

Not sure, it would require updates to epic request for bonus which simply don't know more then a few on how to do.

Best would be to join our channel in game and people have saved locs and stuff (for now), it's still not fully complete (there's more past that next step post epic retelling).

Any clue what the "prize" is for finishing this? First I've heard of this artisan thing now T_T

Nothing, you have to do the next one which is 12 TS quests. The Reward for this is his prized tradeskill item which is likely http://spells.eqresource.com/spells.php?id=42305

You can pre do the ground spawns, you can pre do the 3 TS achievements just added (required to "prove" you are not a fail artisan to him)

But on this one it's not a one-per-server type deal right?

Personally found several. Personally shove it up your halfling, it doesn't take cheating to be better at EQ than you.

Not afaik, it's going to take awhile, but I doubt it, the only exclusive 1 per server thing so far has been like system wide congratulations and a plaque in Felwithe.

People get hints, hints are literal where they are, some are more obvious, some took hours.

I don't even know what you are talking about. Is there another task after epic retelling? It opens up after you complete it?

Yes, Artisan requires 16 ground spawns (we have locs, someone in our sw channel can prob help with zones/locs, idk all of them offhand will have to go back and get locs/mark on map/etc probably for guide, it is hard to race server first and do that at same time everything about it was brainstormed shared in channel tho), after that you get TS quests that seem to require the 3 new achievement TS's and/or TS Trophy in each major TS.

These are going to take quite awhile though so that's current status of this long chain.

Quick recap.

A Developer (Dzarn) put in new quests which result in a special "one off" server first plaque for each class.
He told absolutely noone about these quests, except for his friends.

Obviously with the head start, the friends begin to do this special quest which results in server first titles. They keep quiet tho.
Because they have ALTS that also want server first titles.
So they repeat these quests on their alts.

It's about this time that other people begin to cotton on, "hey there's a new quest", and start asking questions.
And here's where something very sneaky happens.

Unbeknownst to many,
There is not just ONE quest that results in server first titles, there are at LEAST TWO
So now there is potential competition in getting the Artisan server firsts.

"All our friends have done the Epic Retelling. Lets stop 99.9% of the EQ population from doing that quest, so they cannot go on and request Artisan" said the Dev's.
So they introduced HH which has now C-O-C-K blocked everyone with the mistlemoore update step.

Now the friends and their alts have 6 weeks to finish up the server firsts for the artisans plaques as well.

And thats about it.

I've been done with collection parts of this on Rathe. But cannot get the last one it will not respawn. All things considered this is the most fun I've had in awhile in eq. The people that implemented this might have dropped it at a bad time but they did a good job with the rest.
