Alliance spell behaviour

    I'm curious how this works for other classes. If a Ranger casts Alliance and a pre-existing debuff hasn't faded with time or fulminated the spell bounces and the gem is locked out as if it had landed. The same thing happens if there's no debuff slots available.
    Not sure if we eat the mana cost in either case.

    I have heard other classes complaining about their cast being overwritten but this doesn't appear possible with Rangers.

    It works the same for (nearly?) every class. If you all have the same rank of alliance, it cannot be overwritten. It won't land but will still have a recast timer and use mana. However, if someone has Rk. 2 for example, Rk. 3 will overwrite it.

    Yea it’s a bit annoying but nothing some solid rotation communication can’t fix. (Although it would be nice to not have to of course)
