Dude, it’s a free trade server. It doesn’t matter what it was “announced” as. People posted on the forums for a free trade server for ages, and were eventually given a server with free trade. How does this not compute to you? Let me try something simpler: players asked to play this game from the beginning again and be able to give stuff to each other that they couldn’t before, and it was decided to let them play the game from the beginning again and be able give stuff to each other that they couldn’t before. And it was announced as a random loot server and got the free trade as a result of that as a way to deal with loot that could be unusable to people depending on the RNG of the drop.
