afk camping on yelinak

I see the same 6-boxxers every day and night 24/7 at the efreeti camp, at multiple picks, all afk and instant nuking when it spawns.

Didn't there used to be a rule against scripting and afk-farming? There doesn't seem to be these days.

It's the same guy who kills ice giants. Looks like he moved his 2 groups over to efreeti.

I saw someone training them the other night. Gave em a nice round of applause

Just need the weekly nerf enchanter stun and buff rogue threads now.

I hear a certain level 1 bard has done exactly that, and should be applauded for his efforts.

If a level 1 Bard did anything they were definitely hacking.

If you see 12 characters doing anything, make proper reports and they continue to do what they're doing you can be assured that you were wrong about whatever you think that they were doing. I've reported in the past and seen crews disappear within 30 minutes and never return so I know they take care of those things

Yeah we encountered the "fro" necro box group a couple nights ago. They simply appeared out of nowhere and began stealing our camp. Nothing a group can to against 5 necros and a druid. Strangely enough you could not /who them must be a special character in the name.

Unfortunately every TLP suffers from the same ...bot armies camp stealing and perm camps and the current company cares nothing about it. Let's face it most of the current EQ developers/programmers and higher ups don't play at all on TLPs or otherwise they would get some of these regular offenders off the servers permanently. Just enjoy the groups ..general chat because after PoP probably it will be over for Yelinak. This is a regular server with longer time on expansions, no special rules. Eventually it will get less populated and boxing relax rules will be set on the future. My goal is to enjoy the necro lifestyle and enjoy the laughs on general chat on Yelinak until luclin expansion is over and then delete the character lol ..don't like PoP ..for that I have Agnarr !! Just enjoy the ride!!!

The mages camping Efreeti are so scripted. Spawn = Instant cast on all 6. They have made it clear they dont care about enforcing this. There was another group in another pic that was also so automated it was hilarious.

I don't know if Yelinak will reach Luclin or PoP with a healthy population. I feel like Vaniki and Mischief/Thornblade are hogging all of the good guilds. EC is pretty sparse at night too. Maybe a lot of players are just waiting for Kunark to launch before they dip their toes back into Yelinak's rule set. I hope so because I really enjoyed the first three weeks.

Two days ago Guk had 5 picks so I went to the hole and it had 4 picks. I'm not sure what you consider low population but those numbers are great 5 weeks into classic.

You are 100% correct that Yelinak has a great population during the day, but it plummets fairly quickly into the night. I know that EQ's population has a strong N.A. audience. It's a catch-22. My Necro is rarely LFG for very long because so many players have logged out in the evening which is when I login, but I would love to see more players from Europe on the server like Mischief had. I said it. I miss Mischief's late night population.

Mischief has more Euro players I believe than most servers.

Accurate. I personally observed them warping from the zone entrance to Efreeti. That said, I can support some white hat warping if it means training these AFK farmers.

It's amazing the kind of degeneracy that happens in EQ outside of the eye of most of the playerbase. Just go into SolB at 4am EST and you can see some real funny stuff.

There's no such thing as white hat warping or training.
