It's not scheduled maintenance if you announce it 2 hours before it starts, call it like it is. It's an emergency patch.
In all fairness if they called it an emergency patch, scheduled maintenance, feeding the hamster, or the after effects of a unicorn frappuccino the fact remains that the servers are down for a period of time while Daybreak is working to get them back up and running. What you call it is semantics and wholly unimportant.
