So taking into account the fact that the FAQ says autogrant is 2 expansions back, my interpretation here is that they decided to start out at 4 expansions back, then use each of the two non-aa granting expansions to effectively reduce this number by 1 until after TBS they have reached the behavior described in the FAQ. It's very possible that whoever wrote up the FAQ just glanced at the list, the majority of which is expansions after TBS where the rule is 2 expansions back and they just forgot about this gradual phasing in of the autogrant behavior.
Or, and here is a more plausible expectation, the faq is just wrong. As it was in several other places. They got a bunch of things wrong on # of expansions, which expansions will unlock what, etc. Either way, whether it is actually supposed to be 2 or 4 expansions, what they wrote is incorrect. If they really meant 2, then they shouldn't have said "Like we did on Fippy and Vulak" since they both used 4. It seems really unlikely that they will give a better autogrant than live has for a server that will eventually hit live. Live is 4 expansions back.
