9th Necromancer Skullcap still not in game while other final quests are

    Monk shackle, Shaman Cudgel, SK Greenmist are all in game, how about some love for Necros/Warriors. The NPCs needed to complete the 9th Iksar Necro skullcap quest are still not in game. I have a bug report in for it already. Please can we get this done?

    which is funny cause i could have sworn the Warrior one wasn't in either... but oh wait.. No one plays warriors unless they ogres so yea i guess that one doesn't matter... lol

    This is one of those... "It was released in GOD" but ignoring that so were many of the others but they let those stay in Bull crap that exists. Dev's have officially said that they will not add it because it is "too powerful" since it has similar stat to a raid item in luclin. Just one of those big giant fingers that we get every now and then. Once it gets added the item is trash and no one will get it because GOD items are far better.

    Wouldn't a reasonable approach be to add it during Luclin or PoP then (e.g. after it is too strong but before it is too weak)?

    There is already precedent in that the Coldain shawl/ring final quests where they appearently decided that the ring was appropriate for Velious but the shawl was not.

    It would make a ton of sense... its just getting them to do it.. I really dont understand the reasoning sometimes.. Like why is BFG still not back in the game? It is no longer broken and yet its still out...

    They just need to get on with it and put the NPCs that are needed for this quest BACK in game where they belong, this quest WAS in Kunark originally, it just was broken. The original company took it's sweet time fixing it back then. Are we to be punished AGAIN by this new company for the laziness of the original? It is not like I am asking for a handout here. I have put in the effort already on the other quests that give horrid rewards for their difficulty. How about some capitulation? This is not an unreasonable request.

    Yeah those are my thoughts on the matter as well. Once Kunark was released the quests should have been active regardless on how long it took the company to actually fix the broken quests. The items power levels were not GOD equivalent they were made to be Kunark power level equivalent. To not add them into the game till that time is a slap in the face to players.

    Three were at the max item in Kunark. Two were not "complete" until GoD. One was not "complete" until "OoW".

    It will not break the game to have the items active. There power levels are Kunark era in strength and to leave them out untill GOD and OOW would basically make them unusable as their power levels when they do enter will be far inferior to current gear of the GOD and OOW eras. You could add them in Velious and that would still be fine but any later and you have made them worthless.

    So the one's that are supposed to be in game are in game, is what you're saying? (Btw, that monk "second epic" as you call it, is terrible.)

    I'd love for the necro one to be in game, but I doubt they'll do it, simply because of the logic that it isn't supposed to be in the game yet.

    For years Sony Devs would answer questions all the time that the quests were in the game and active and you can find countless archived forum posts over it. However in GOD era they finnaly "Fixed" the broken quests that for years we were told were in game and active... proving that they were wrong and the players were right. That is also why the items powers are similar in power levels of Kunark/Velious era.. Keeping the items out of the game till GOD makes them useless as by then the items power levels is far inferior to other items. Heck in Planes of Power we have everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=17745 the Silk Elemental Tranquility Armor heck in Luclin we get a shoulder item clicky.     Ethereal, what you are not understanding is that ALL the final quests were "supposed" to be in game during Kunark. The Necromancer and Warrior quests were just quest arcs that didn't lead anywhere. The quest starter NPC's for the final piece were in game during Kunark but the final quests were broken. So you see the logic that they are not supposed to be in game is incorrect.

    Exactly they were all in the game but the final turn ins or the items needed were not dropping, it just took them 10expansions or more to fix. Players should not be punished and the items remain absent till they are long past their use just because the original team refused to fix quests.
