25th Anniversary TLP server

Enjoy your ez-mode loot piñata server my guy. Just keep that ez-mode ish on Mischief and off the 25th. Never been an easier server to get BIS on and its boring.

Mischief's ruleset had one major advantage over the other servers which I haven't seen mentioned lately. A player can bypass the guild drama, all the raid commitments, and time restraints and still acquire the best gear. It really is a nice perk when the guild leader and top officers are constantly complaining about stuff that you don't want to hear.

You can't get BIS on mischief currently in the SOF expansion from any 1 groupable mob.

You sound like someone who makes a living off of selling gear and you are just mad because you can't sell loot rights and more people are able to participate in a better economy.

Yes, true, but currently BIS items will cost you anywhere from 5 -10 krono and up each. Not counting augs.

It's better to just get in one of the many guilds available who mostly all are recruiting and get gear for free.

And then you can sell the gear later when you upgrade.

Mischief haters are long time loot rights sellers and RMTers that are mad other people get to play in the economy now with equal footing.

Player-trading has been happening since the beginning of teh game, it became a massive multi-million dollar 3rd party industry at one point & it was sucking millions of dollars out of EQ.

Krono was the solution to a far worse problem than people who hate Krono truly grasp and it helps keep the lights on.

People who don't like making the required effort obviously love being able to circumvent it, and I hate it for the very same reason.
I detest Free Trade on Raid items, and it is the one reason I avoided Mischief. But I am totally in favour of Free Trade on ALL group loot.

By the way there is 0 challenge in classic - god the game starts getting mechanics and a bit of a challenge in OOW but even then it's still very easy.

I enjoy mischief because the gear doesn't become obsolete and it can still be used by my other characters on other accounts.

Currently on mischief, if you want the best gear you have to complete the hardest raids, unless you buy it and guess what, people have been selling loot rights long before mischief came along.

So please explain and provide proof on how the game is any easier on mischief?

Actually the argument can be made that mischief is a harder server because you don't know what loot you are going to get.

On the regular servers you know exactly what mobs drop what loot.

Again explain how mischief is an easier server?

Im willing to bet Brazy doesn't even play EQ.

3rd party plat selling sites were much much worse than trading for Krono will ever be. There was the same monopolizing of good camps for loot both plat and items and constant chat spam for sites where you could buy the plat the farmers were taking so you could buy the loot from those same farmers.

Of course most of the anti-Krono crowd don't understand the most basic things about server economies

I would come back and drop 40 slot bags on 2 accounts if they made another Mischief server

i missed the last one for various reasons, which was a huge bummer after doing basically the other 4-5 TLPs that came before it

I find the people who dislike Mischief are the people who's primary enjoyment in the game comes from being "better" or "richer" or more "leet" than other people. It is entirely possible to play on Mischief and earn/loot every piece of gear that you're wearing, so it's not because they can't enjoy earning their gear on Mischief. They just don't want anyone enjoying the game differently from the way they do.

It feels like they are always worried about these hypothetical people who are buying all their gear, and just the possible existence of these people ruins their enjoyment of the game. Personally, I can't imagine why how some total stranger chooses to gear themselves has any impact whatsoever on another person's gaming enjoyment. I can't fathom being that concerned about how someone else has fun. Especially when it has zero impact on your ability to play the game.

The increased drops? Considering we are in these expansions for 1/5-1/4 of the time that they were originally live I have a hard time agreeing with anyone who is upset about 2x-3x more loot.

I tried Oakmist, it made it clear that Mischief ruined other servers for me. Every time I killed a named it reminded me there was no random, and I was disappointed. Everytime I saw a no trade item, it just hammered home how much more flexible, and fun, Mischief rules are. I won't play on another server without Mischief rules.

Start new on mischief now!!

you can easily twink the hell out of yourself and it doesn't take long to catch up.

Lots of guilds recruiting and secrets of faydwer is a very fun expansion.

Seeds of destruction and a string of great expansion are on the horizon, honestly now is a great time to come to mischief.

Also mercs next month $$$$

they should just merge all the existing tlps to live so they have a clean slate, as most of them are past planes of power when the game ends

mischief has already outlived its own ruleset, and whichever tlp comes next should have the earlier expansions last longer since the later ones are just like playing on a low population live server

Citation needed. Theres still a very large population on mischief (one of 3 high pop servers at 9AM Pacific on a Friday) and they seem rather engaged with the content.

"the game ends" when people stop enjoying themselves, not some arbitrary expansion that happened 2 years ago. I say let them go as far as they can

Personally I wouldn't mind seeing them take a break from releasing new TLP's... There's what currently 9 TLP's..... First Daybreak now Darkpaw are beating the TLP horse into the ground, wringing every penny out of it... It's like the whole Disney thing and Star Wars... so much Star Wars content now we're like who cares ......
