I play a Wizard but sometimes drag along a Bard that I admittedly box rather poorly. For the first time, the Bard has actually caught up to my Wizard and now that I can actually benefit from many of the Bard songs, I could use some guidance as to song selection. This would be for the two characters plus mercs, and I'm mainly looking for a /melody for basic combat; slow/haste/ADPS/etc. Nothing fancy. Thanks much!
Well for Melody for your wizard: (assuming melee tank and cleric) 1. Aria of Begalru - casting/melee haste and dmg 2. Qunard's Aria - ADPS fire spells 3. Pulse of Xigam - Mana health regen 4. Second Song of Veeshan - AC, dmg shielding 5. Dirge of Lost Horizon - Rune for defense 6. Arcane Ballad - 7. Shardstubble's Assonant Binding -- 2: Decrease Attack Speed by 5% (L51) to 40% (L61) 3: Decrease Movement by 2% (L51) to 111% (L110) 4: Decrease AGI by 20 (L51) to 75 (L110) 6: Decrease AC by 0 (L51) to 33 (L110)
For a Wizard, I would use Aura of Xigam, Aura of Begalru would only get you some extra flurry chances if you were a melee.
Assuming you're also melee'ing with the Bard, I'd use something like: Aria of Begalru Qunard's Aria (fire)/Fatesong of Dekloaz (cold) Travenro's Song of Suffering Dirge of Lost Horizon Kluzen's Spry Sonata Arcane Ballad Shardstubble's Binding Jembel's Lively Crescendo Run Aura of Xigam. If you need more mana regen, drop Travenro's Song of Suffering (melee DPS loss) or Kluzen's Spry Sonata (defensive loss) for Pulse of Xigam.
I consider all of 2 (either one) 4 5 & 7 too weak to sing =/ Bottom line is bards don't stack best with wizards. Arcane Ballad is a thing, and casters are pretty good at critting their Suffering procs, but most boost will just come from Epic & Fierce Eye boosts to average crit rate when run on cool-down.
