You would expect silk to be given at a much higher rate than ore or garnets, however the system rewards 54 ore, 27 garnet, and only 14 silk. Considering that 8 silk = 1 ore when it comes to making armor, the numbers seem incorrect. This problem is also reflected in some of the older expansions as well.
Other than not including the poisonmaking components like in years past, the real head-scratcher is the inclusion of the powder. Bloodied Luclinite Powder is made from the ore..it's not a drop. So, having some extra ore as a reward would make sense if the powder wasn't included. But having the high number of ores AND including powders really makes no sense.
