Most basepop NPCs have around 50m HP The following basepop NPC's HP seems quite high (like 4 times other basepop in the same zone) a_shak_dathor_swayer Scorched_bones a_charred_shade a_gloompetal_thistle a_mature_hopper a_loda_kai_thug (maybe) A_painted_elemental a_Loda_Kai_guard_commander
Often a few mobs in every zone have something like twice the HP and give in return twice the experience (exact amounts unknown) of the rest of the mobs. This is intended. Often these mobs are Giants or Golems, so this illustrates Larger = More hit points.
These mobs have more than twice the hp, regular mobs have around 50-60m in that zone, these mobs have over 340m hp Fanra
To add to the above comment, this is a normal non-ph dark blue con grimling in Shadeweaver: A shak dratha scout in 41s, 53.41M Damage This is a dark blue con ph at the same camp: A shak dathor swayer in 169s, 246.27M Damage
This can in no way be intended. If it is, someone needs to have their head removed from their nether region. This game struggles hard enough to keep people going in some zones. It would make this zone 100% useless as soon as you are done questing. I havent checked the other half dozen posts on this topic at this time, but I would bet there is still no response. They were also alerted by someone in Discord, and they (a dev?) responded asking for where the posts were, linked to them, and lo and behold, they stopped responding.
Add 'a Loda Kai guard commander' (PH for EM24 pet earring named Commander Eslin) for excessive HP level. Based on how the commanders are grouped in a small area, it does not seem intended. I also don't think it was their intent to make hunting for the pet earring onerous. I may be wrong but worth reporting and reviewing.
I think some of the newer devs (who have never gone through a full expansion cycle) did a lot of work on this one. It's possible they didn't know how certain things are supposed to work (or the older devs didn't bother telling them). Named ph mobs are supposed to be a *tad* harder than the normal trash mobs. Newer devs may not understand what *tad* is supposed to mean in the context of the game.
Below are mobs from my parser from the start of the expansion with ~ 300 M hp or more. Vius Vex is the Under Siege boss mob. Jakarashev is the boss mob of Mean Streets. Many of the mobs in Shadeweaver's listed below have more HP than both of them. Thread subject now shows "fixed internally". The big question is...when does that fix go to the servers? This week? Next week? A month from now when everyone is back from vacation?
Please take a look at some other HP mobs as well. Mace in 211s, 693.49M Damage @3.29M, 1. Aallayna = 239.57M@1.14M in 211s Mace is a rare in Ruins of Shadow Haven. It has as many or more HP than some of the raid minis.
In addition to having the same HP as the named they can spawn the placeholders are all immune to mez, calm, and a variety of other cc spells. Hopefully this will be fixed as well when their HP is fixed
Why isn't this hotfixed? Why we must wait for it to be fixed after vacations? If an expansion isn't finished: don't launch it. Offering a bad experience isn't really customer friendly. Merry Christmas.
This is correct. I fought Mace tonight. It parsed at 693,511,363. Poor pets had sore arms flailing away on that thing after the fight.
