The Necromancer AA Summon Corpse needs a ToL rank so it casts Summon Corpse XI and links to the most recent 120 capped spell Thanatos' Proclamation. Casting the current ToV rank of this AA does the following: Summon Corpse X Classes: NEC/254 Skill: Melee Target: Self Resist: Beneficial, Blockable: Yes Focusable: Yes Casting: 5s 1: Cast: Highest Rank of Duskreaper's Proclamation (v470) Summon Corpse X, when activated, casts the highest rank of Duskreaper's Proclamation that you have scribed. Don't think this gets much use due to Summon Remains which works differently but this should still be fixed.
You've also got the spell version. That being said, if you've got to summon for a group of people, more options is good due to recast timers. Regardless this is broken and seems to be an oversight.
Still not fixed for the increased level cap to 120 and newer 116 spell. The current ranks needs updating to pull the most recent spell from 116 Thanatos' Proclamation or have a new rank of Summon Corpse XI added that pulls that 116 spell.
Or fix it so that the AA simply uses the highest level of the 'summon corpse' line of spells and quit hardcoding the spell name which breaks every time there is a level increase ?
Original way was better but Dzarn was dead set on linking them to spells to save "AA space" and/or adding component costs. IIRC originally the way the 2 lines worked was: Summon Remains: summoned the corpses for the person you had targeted from any zone to them; no component cost ,1 minute reuse, no level cap. Summon Corpse: summoned the corpse for the person you had targeted to you from the zone you were in; no component cost, believe it was longer reuse then now, no level cap. Now Summon Corpse requires updating with every level cap increase. Either adding a new rank linking it to the new corpse summon spell or by adding the new level capped spell to the spell group the AA links to. Ideally its just changed back to no level cap and its one less thing to worry about. But it does work differently then the Summon Remains line and has some uses.

"casts highest rank of Dusk reaper's proclamation" well Dusk reaper's proclamation though being labeled as a self target the spell text clearly states "summons your target's corpse to you" the spell has no problem summoning my target's corpse when cast manually but every time I cast the AA "summon corpse" AA ID:72 it says "you cannot sense any of your corpses in the area" only working for self.
The spell data for "Summon Corpse X" on EQResource does show "Target: Self". If you are loading thanatos' proclamation spell thats up to level 120. The AA casts up to level 115 version at the moment. What level character are you trying to summon corpse?\ Also are you in the zone with the corpse? One of the versions only works in zone, another version works across zones. Are you grouped with the player you are corpse summoning?

yeah the nec i has was 113, but despite if the spell says self target the text of the spell it is casting still says "summons you target's corpse" was groups with the player was in zone with the live player and his corpse. has to mem the spell that was on and listed in the AA to get it to work. otherwise it was trying to summon my own corpse if i used the AA
