    *** Highlights ***

    - Made several improvements to achievement processing to improve zone latency.
    - The Darkened Sea expansion bundles will be available from August 17 through August 30.
    - Increased the default number of available Extended Target Window slots to 20, and removed the alternate ability requirement.

    *** Items ***

    - Made Eye of Yar`Lir and Eye of Vishimtar quest items.
    - 10th Anniversary Firework Focus items have had a typo corrected in their lore text.


    *** Tradeskills ***

    - Failing a combine due to insufficient skill will now also display the minimum required skill.


    *** Quests & Events ***

    - Miragul's Reanimation Formula will now drop from appropriate level 60 Lost Dungeons of Norrath adventures.
    - Updated a dialog trigger on Baenar Swiftsong to make it easier to experience the rest of the story they give.
    - A Journey Home (Raid): Charm and fear will be removed from players before the chest spawns to prevent an effect on a charmed player killing the chest.
    - Removed respawn of NPCs from many mission and raid zones.


    *** Spells ***

    - Reduced the level of the Planes of Power imbue spells by five levels.
    - Updated Outrider's and Blackguard's Synergy to work properly with the appropriate skills.
    - Spell damage applied to an NPC target, without a caster, will now use the correct damage reporting channel instead of say.
    - Added messaging to the Heals (You) and Heals (Others) channels when a debuff with counters is cured.
    - Fixed a bug that caused some bolt and area effect spells to display a small bag.


    *** AA ***

    - The progression AA Gift of the Keepers, Valor of the Keepers, Embrace of the Keepers, Power of the Keepers, and Sanctity of the Keepers now require level 60.
    - Fixed an issue with incorrect ranks of AAs being purchased when using the Buy All button on a mercenary AA.


    *** NPCs ***

    - Shadow Valley - A remnant of shade can now be tracked.


    *** Overseer ***

    - The button to retire a selected Agent will now be disabled for Agents that cannot be retired.


    *** Progression Servers ***

    - Updated the required level of Vaniki's Challenge: Defeat Defense of the City.
    - The tutorial will now allow level 6 to 14 players to zone into it on Vaniki.
    - Removed the AFK kick from Vaniki.
    - The level 60 progression reward has been changed to the Visage of Vaniki. You should receive this reward even if you received the other. We will not be reclaiming the other reward. Enjoy!
    - Moved the availability of the Heroic Character quests to when The Darkened Sea opens instead of when part 2 opens.


    *** Miscellaneous ***

    - Increased the max number of items that can be sold in one barter transaction from 20 to 100.
    - - Holding shift while selling to a buyer will now work if you have less of the item to sell than the transaction cap.
    - When you fail to cast a spell that requires out of combat, your timer will be updated.
    - Improved the way that achievements are processed in order to reduce zone latency.


    *** UI ***

    - Corrected an issue where your Heroic Character count would not update correctly at the character select screen.
    - Increased the default number of available Extended Target Window slots to 20, and removed the alternate ability requirement.
    - Added chat messages when cancelling or completing a trade.
    - Updated trade chat messaging to include the quantity of items or coin offered. These messages will now display for both the sender and recipient using the System Messages chat filter.
    - The aggro meter is now available when players reach level 20 instead of when Rain of Fear launches.
    - The Randomize Loading Music setting should now work properly when unchecked.
    - When a selected quest advances to a step involving a different zone, the quest journal will now keep the same quest selected.

    Should this say Call of the Forsaken instead of TDS? CoTF is when Heroics traditionally release on TLP and has multiple release parts whereas TDS is a later expansion which as far as I know releases all in 1 part.

    Vaniki will now allow level 6 - 14 players in the tutorial

    Why not to 16 the same as live?

    I am hoping this excludes ToL zones (wishful thinking).

    As much as I enjoy the ToL fisticuffs Mercs; do we have to wait for next expansion for Mercenaries to get their weapons back?

    While your updating the filters can you please change pet spells to mine, all and none so they can be filtered the same as pet melee, currently it is all or none and I really don't want to know what other players pets are casting.

    Also reattach the emote spell data to spells so it can be filltered I really don't want to know that NPCs/Players/Pets have had spells landed on them, I have the spells for others and pets turned off for a reason and this just increases my log file and slows things down. Example from my log

    Im still hoping you can fix lag but this sounds terribly like "try this maybe thats it".

    Yup. Being able to grab a mission instance before I log off for the night, plop my toons down into a corner, pop Lesson, and pull/kill non-stop for 30 solid min with absolutely NO aggravation (other players mainly) was...heaven.

    An easy, stress-free AA grind spot is not game breaking...it's a reward for paying customers that stuck with this game for 20+ years. Yet certain devs still treat players like the enemy and refuse to leave ANYTHING in this game that makes it even remotely "fun".

    It looks like they still operate on the philosophy of social friction as a good thing, as in people bumping into each other and creating social interactions either cooperative or competitive. Personally, I’m about a several presidential terms behind finding that type of interaction desirable. I just don’t want any headaches or conflicts around grind spots.

    While that may be true they do have a track record of not wanting players to have private instances for xping.

    Ranger Arrow Spells were consuming charges without the intended effect(s) triggering. Rogues will remain unchanged as it was only not working for actual spells as opposed to endurance based skill attacks. Essentially, Rangers are just getting a small DPS increase/balance that they've been missing due to a bug since synergies launched with EoK.

    I can think of times I'd have appreciated no repop, like in the Demi-Plane of Blood in which not everything was on the same repop timer and repops mid event were awful for a mid tier guild that didn't just plow through everything quickly. But if it's a change just to throw a wrench into how people are playing, I can't say I understand that.

    I think it would be much better if Lesson of the Devoted was replaced by a vitality system like EverQuest II has. Then it wouldn't be a rush to kill as much as possible in 30 minutes. I'm sure coding that in is probably not practical though even if they wanted to, though I think Fellowship bonus exp is consumed similarly to EQII vitality.

    I assumed the lesser amount of missions and lack of heroic missions were simply due to staffing limitations, but it would be a shame if "we don't want players in instances" had any role in that.

    This has nothing to do with the number of instances but the fact that they have reduced the amount of xp that is gotten fron AoC instances as well as updated pick zones to go away when the population in the pick hits a minimum number. The idea isn't that instances are bad but that players shouldn't be sitting in a private instance either by themselves or with a group as their sole means of xping or farming items.

    I hope this does not include GoD missions where the named only spawns after X amount of mobs have been killed or in the respawn.

    Does this mean the trash will not spawn if there is a loot lockout? as technically that is respawn.
