After this patch we get waves of people crashing (usually post-rez as buffs are going out) 3-6 people at a time
Was raiding Aaryanar Thursday night and froze then crashed to desktop. This was mid fight though. It had been several months since the last time I crashed.
Yep, still seeing multiple people crash every night. Sometimes during pre-fight buffing, sometimes mid event. Does seem to be the same group of people every time, though not the exact same people each time. (i.e. Bob, Sally, Jeff will crash first time, then Bob and Sally next time, then Jeff and Sally, etc). This could be entirely anecdotal however; I haven't actually monitored who crashes.
If you are crashing to desktop, can you PM me your character name, server, time of the crash, and full raid logs from players in your group that didn't crash. Identifying the characters that did crash in the raid log will help us identify potential causes.
We had players just get dumped to desktop on Sunday, no EQ screens at all, the game just closed. The first started with the aura in Goranga raid to move into the building, from that point on we had random people getting dumped to desktop.
Happening tonight during Aten Ha Ra raid, Bertoxx server. Lots crashing after we failed and came back and buffed. The only work-around would be to drop the expedition upon a failure but that is excessive effort. I did tell my guild what I've been told by Daybreak in the past which is: I don't know if anyone did.
If anybody affected by this issue that is running "Memory Mode: Maximum", can you try setting it to high or medium?
After crashing once at Maximum, I set it to Medium and then crashed soon after. Full details to be emailed with dbg.txt files to you soon. The dbg.txt files also contain information on the memory mode at time of crash in the file. UPDATE: Email sent.
This is still happening, any update from dpg? For me it's usually right after starting an event or right before (think previously it was upon receiving buffs that had multiple effects like ranger combo buffs and if you didn't have room for all of them you'd crash)
Happens frequently still, particularly after failing the event then rezzing up and getting ready to go again, constant LDs from random people.
