Originally, Upper Floors was 50% see-invis and 50% see IVU. This was later changed to All Mobs including Nameds do not see-invis. Reason is because it is a travel corridor to 4 other zones. After the patch of 4/20, Ember Golems and Rot Dogs now see-invis. Ember Golems are on the route to Fear Itself. Rot Dogs are on the route to Al'Kabor's Nightmare. Fear Itself is a rotating Hot Zone. The zone was set as a Hot Zone after Upper Floors was set to No See Invis Mobs. You cannot expect players to travel to a Hot Zone with the original Upper Floors design of a mixture of see-invis and see IVU. HoT Upper Floors certainly fits your description of "the change to undead body types created unintentionally hostile environments". It was proven that changing it to No See Invis was needed years ago. Please re-set Upper Floors back to All Mobs including Nameds do not see-invis as it was before patch of 4/20.
Why are they s41tting on everything? One game breaking bug after another and kill all paths to experience. Nerf Instance xp, mob xp, nerf common camps, headshots, it's pretty consistent.
