logged in yesterday to do something and found out that my spell bar was missing and alt-s toggle does nothing to bring it back. Also eq button character spell gems does nothing as well. Weirdest part I tried to uninstall eq and its giving me a runtime error to protect the files from my deleting them. (attached imgur)
update I was talking to people on my server's general chat. looks like doing the quest : 13th anniversary quest "A Different Perspective" has caused my spell bar to dissapear. now that I cannot toggle it back its gone forever and rendered the character unplayable.
tried to manually create it back with some advice given to me by a fellow servermate and they said try to find it in the ui file of your character. I looked for the line in my ui but cant find spellgems listed in the ui file. is it possible to recreate the spellgems by adding a ui line? or if it exists can someone post it here?

Its prob just off screen somewhere. Before deleting files I would switch in and out of windowed mode (alt enter), see if you can see it then. Another option is to minimize all your other windows and try the alt S and see if it shows up Or command /loadui or something close to that. We fixed a guy yesterday that had lost some of his stuff too. But you will need to redo some of it. already tried all of that it didnt work. Thank you though. Also alt-s isnt working on all my other characters either so its not offscreen. I also tried /defaultui or whatever that command was and it didnt work. it kept my on my same ui which was weird.
you might also change resolutions. If you can, log in from another device with no UI for the character and get a default UI. If it's still missing, it's a root game file error and not a UI error. Also, if you're in Windows 11, stop and remove Game mode. Also if you use things like Discord overlay / Overwolf, etc, sometimes they cause UI graphical conflicts.
