The Doomshade event is now much more difficult. The adds that spawn in the west can't be headshot anymore. Combined with their blind/silence aura, this makes them very difficult to kill in time. Was it intended that this T1 raid was made more difficult?
I think it's likely an unintended consequence of the body type changes, but hopefully we can get a dev to look at it and fix it.
Thanks for the feedback. The adds are now currently "Magic", but we will be changing these adds to "Undead" in a future update.
Why not just put them back to humanoid instead of undead? They used to be headshottable. Making the hardest T1 raid marginally harder seems like a weird design choice.
Undead don't need their brains so a headshot shouldn't cause any more damage than any other kinda shot.
I thought zombies were most susceptible to headshots, than any other damage besides fire. Other undead like vampires don't seem phased by them much. Iirc there were some mobs in CotF that were both undead and humanoid, but Idk if the new system of body types can allow that.
Um.. why then, in every zombie game, do you have to shoot them in the head to take them down!? My video game life is a lie...
Fire makes sense and zombies want to eat brains but beheading really doesn't make sense. Haven't you all seen a zombie holding their own head? It doesn't bother them.
Eq zombies are based more on Old TTRPG's, than Modern Zombie Tropes and most old TTRPG's Zombies don't care about headshots or their heads.
