Was excited to read up about the 23rd Anniversary Sweepstakes only to then find this posted besides the ENTRY button MUST BE LEGAL RESIDENT OF US TO ENTER I mean... WHY? Unless of course there will be a non US citizen sweepstakes following after?
Contest rules vary so much outside the states, i would imagine that is why its restricted to the u.s.a.
Paying for lawyers to check the gambling laws of every other country costs more than the prizes are worth.
I am sure they would like to expand these things to more people but various laws in countries outside the US make it so that isn't always possible.
Still, Darkpaw has my address and still sends me an e-mail to inform me of this fantastic sweepstake for which I am not eligible. Gogo gadget stoopid.
These are just a few of the convoluted laws from other countries that prohibit US companies from running contests - so don't blame Darkpaw https://nationalsweepstakescompany.com/blog/international-sweepstakes-contest-laws/ And if your country were to allow US contests then the US company would have to pay shipping to send the prize to you and that is not cheap.
