Crashing Problem

Hi folks,

I'm having a problem with one of my chars crashing to desktop when I try to log him in. Only that one char, the rest can log in just fine, and some are even in the same zone as the one who crashes.

Any idea on how to fix this?

Do this first cause its easy:

Validate Game Assets through the launchpad

• Run the LaunchPad and log in, but do not press play.
• Click on the Advanced Tools icon (looks like a gear) in the lower left and and choose Validate Game Assets.
• Press the green Validate button to have the LaunchPad check your game files and download any missing or corrupt files.

One of your character's files is glitched, it happens sometimes.

Someone could probably narrow it down to which file exactly causes this, but if you search your eq folder for your character's name, there are a number of auto generated files with the name on them. Delete them.

You'll have to rebuild your UI settings. It's worked for me a few times.

Hmmm An intriguing idea for a quest there.

trying loading the charecter on another pc and move him to a new zone and then try logging him on the original pc.

It's fun for a girl or a boy!
