Hello, My guild is trying to do PoTorment flagging in PoP. When initially zoning into the zone, it sent half of the raid to the /pickzone. Those that got sent to the /pickzone had to /pickzone back to the main instance to get back with the raid. Unfortunately, that was just the start of the problem. If you're familiar with the zone and raid, you clear to Maareq, then at the bird cage, you port from there to a mini part of the zone, requiring you to zone. At this point in time, we lost half of our raid that went to a new, forced /pickzone. We continued clearing through the main zone and killed Keeper of Sorrows and got his flag. Unfortunately, everyone in the /pick was forced to leave and not get flagged. For those in the main zone still - talking to Tylis and he zones you again back to where you came. When we zoned, we were all moved from the main base zone into the /pickzone. When we ran up the stairs, Saryrn was not up in the /pick (she was up in the main zone and on track), and we got the notice that the zone was shutting down in 15 minutes. Our raid was the only people in the base zone and the pick. We ended up having to get everyone out of the pick, run back to the main zone, and then re-clear the entire zone to get back up to Saryrn. The folks that missed the KoS flag above were still out of luck though. /pickzone is completely broken since the recent changes. Can we get this fixed with some emergency downtime, please? /Pickzone should not split up a raid force and they should always stay together, regardless of zone population.

That was a feature request with non-specific details. This post has exact details that showcases that the changes are, indeed, a bug.
Also has a dev telling you it's not a bug, it's a feature, and to suck it up because he won't change it any time soon.
Note to devs: If a change is introduced that makes a progression event impossible to complete for some players, that is a bug. Please take the time to actually understand what is going on with this specific situation in the Plane of Torment and stop lumping it with the other concerns. It's not about inconvenience, it's about the intended behavior of the event being broken such that some players cannot complete it.
If its not a bug that players can no longer complete raids in open zones I don't know what is. If /pick stays as it is they need to move all of these open raids to instances. Nightmare event is also having "issues" as is MPG. I don't believe for one moment that splitting raids doing events was intentional.
No dude, multiple examples of people talking about this specific issue in Plane of Torment, of which they burned down or deleted the post and said its not a bug. No use here homie.
They just see /pickzone and close the threads now. If they actually read the thread they'd understand Torment was broken now.
They already answered this one homie. Not a bug as they said in multiple posts about Plane of Torment that have since be deleted by them. Its by design. RIP
Philosophical nitpick: even if the /pickzone works as designed, there can still be bugs in the design. A bug is not necessarily an implementation or software bug. I do expect them to backtrack their stance and redesign the pickzone functionality. If not, then "PoP locked Progression Server" will take a new meaning...
The OP in the linked thread had no specific examples. If there was anything decent in that one, it probably got lost in all of the noise.
Yeah. It was line by line examples of the flow of Plane Of Torment kicking to subset picks and zones. Mouth instance zone splits was one of the examples. The post was just later deleted after the response was "this is not a bug, answered on X Forum post (now moved to TLP)". If you're struggling to rationalize how it could be seen as "not a bug", join the club.
Actually there is a use in it. Sometimes old threads get obfuscated and require a fresh thread to properly communicate the problem.
Maybe if the /pickzone change is staying then what they need to do to fix Torment is make it warp you up, not zone you up?

Could you possibly share the changes now while there might still be time to get other issues fixed if there was another oversight like this Torment problem?
