Not A Bug Accounts locked out because I need 2 way authentication?

I just had multiple accounts all logged off immediately and now I cannot log them in because I need to set up 2 step verification? the problem is I go on the website and it doesn't allow me to complete the process. Simply says -

2-Step Verification

We are unable to update your security settings. Please try again later.
So I am not sure what I am supposed to do? And of course I have been waiting hours without a response.
I see this has happened before.

I had to use the lotro.com site to set that up. There was no way to do it from the everquest site.

Do you have a ton of plat on an account or a bunch of kronos?

I've had guildmates report that accumulating a lot of plat or krono on a single account will force Daybreak to 2FA that account.
