CoV missions are still only dropping one ore per mission? That seems kind of janky. When did we get double bricks in ToV?
I believe missions started dropping two bricks in ToV in May or June, 6 months after expansion release. I don't know if it was only meant for raids and accidentally applied to group missions, but I was hoping the group missions in CoV would start dropping 2 bricks in June.
I liked how in TBL it was quite an achievement to get full T3 group gear. In ToV with it raining down ores it just made T2 feel like a speedbump. t was nice to have a chase goal alongside the evolving items and wouldn't mind seeing that continued in the next expansion.
I think you may have missed the gravy train that was December-February when ores were raining from the Western Wastes skies. It's clear they never really got a solid grasp on how they broke the system back then. Heck, we still have water mobs on dry land 10 months into me having reported it in beta.
My group has been helping some friends who recently came back as well as some new alts we made after they changed the drop rate.
